Dear Mark, Well I live with 2 boys and a husband and am the only girl in the house. If I can not keep a fear level here I am sunk. Dan mentioned testosterone well I am used to it believe me and it has made me stronger:-< When you say you would teach them with love how would you describe this? Is it love to not block a child from walking in front of a car? IMO God uses fear as a shepherd uses a dog. To direct us and teach us. This is not about the after life primarily it is about the beauty of knowing the SPirit of God. It is real Mark and not something we can understand for it so high above us yet a very part of us IMO. All I know is I was raised by an athiest that emphasised personal strength and a anti Jesus twist to it and Jesus came into my life and swept my off me feet. My favorite thing he said was a man went into a field and found a beautiful pearl of great value. He left the pearl and sold everything he had to buy that field and get the pearl. That pearl is Jesus and the beauty of his Spirit. I know others say they share the same from their religion but I can not comment for he has captured my heart and I choose to serve him forever. Did you know in the New Testament that it says if you want religion to take care of widows and orphans for that is what pleases God (James). Those are the scriptures I find of interest. How can we please him? Not hours of searching on how the Jews are all going to hell. How boring.:0 I have learned that if I do these things I experience him in it and grow to know him more and more. It is very simple and people want to make it complicated. Jesus chose fishermen and simple people as disciples not the religous leaders. That says alot to me. How is your family? WHat do you do on New Years? How old are your daughters? Girls are so very special. Nancy
