Peaceful: Your argument is sound unless someone has major commissions at stake. You don't work an Amway job on the side if it means screwing up the high paying day job. I immediately pass on any salesperson who doesn't believe in their ability to pay for themself. The only caveat is that I will support them with a draw for between 3 and 6 months while they get their chops and make their contacts. Beyond that initial period any salesperson worth their salt should be making enough in commissions to surpass any guaranteed salary. Wally
