Hi Mike, went shopping at Costco this evening. They are selling 1990 Roederer Cristal for $138/per bottle. I think I'll give it a pass.<g> For that price, I could buy 3-5 bottles of ambrosial single malt scotch.

Sometimes to be a smart-alec, I say, "I've had champagne, and I've had caviar. Champagne is sour, and caviar tastes like fish." I mean it about the champagne, it doesn't matter what it costs, I have not ever had champagne that could compare with a good white burgundy. I did buy a little jar of beluga caviar, about $45 for 1.75 oz., no idea how fresh or what, but I do like caviar as a treat once in a while. Now I need a good white burgundy, and some ambrosial single malt scotch, and I am set. All for less than the cost of one bottle of Cristal.<g>
