Yep...I don't consider that a *small* investment. I have 550 shares spread about in my accounts, and am attempting to look at this as a 'long-term' investment...something contrary to my normal trading activity. I hoping that it gets so far ahead that I won't bother looking at it on a tick-by-tick basis. <bobr>

True, 1000 shares is bigger than my position of 600, but when NSCP dropped to 39 some time after the merger announcement, I bought 1000 shares which equates to another 450 of AOL. While I love AOL the shares of NSCP are like buying AOL at a discount. Do the math (1 NSCP = .45 AOL) and see the value. The risk is the deal won't go through, but I doubt that will happen or should I say not happen.

Pruguy, 1000 shares is NOT that big of a position. You'll be surprised as to how much of us small investors can buy that amount.
Remember it's only 75k ,, because of margin

Sounds like a lot of investment to me! I only have 100 shares of AOL with a call to buy another 100 that I will probably exercize, not sell.
How much AOL do you get for 100 shares of NSCP?
