Things have changed.

Don't be so sure. In the '87 crash the ticker was over a half hour behind and no one was too sure where stocks were, other than down big time. It's called a fast market and it still happens on a regular basis.

Things have changed. The problem is too much information when there's a lot
of action. <<

Yes things have changed; money moves at the click of a mouse today. And i think it's one the causes of these sudden sharp moves in stocks.
