Who told you that you have to wait 12 months to take a loss? I never heard that. On gains there are waiting periods of 12 months and 18 months for different percentages. I believe there is no rule for a loss except to claim it you can't buy the stock back for 30 days. I now own this stock at .055 and I'm not panicking yet but the tone of this thread has sure changed.
