JEB, I agree with your 100% on this. If it weren't for the Internet stocks, we are probably seeing DOW at below 8500. If they shoot us down, they are shooting at their own feet that will collapse the giant.

P.S. As for SA, I was tempted to join a few times but heard some horror stories about email not being delivered on time. Is that fixed now?

jeb,

with all do respect i have to disagree, when you get a stupid motorcycle shop go up as much as it did this isn't investing it's gambling...i would guess 99.9% of the people buying these stocks don't even know what the letters DD stand for..........i won't chase these stocks and yes i'm missing out on some big gains BUT i sleep well at night not owning any of these stocks....so i'm real happy making my couple g's a day on the big techs and if i have to hold them ....no problem.

btw- anyone holding skymall?...ouch...cnbc is foaming at the mouth on this one

JEB, agree fully!! i'm amazed at how many people in media or even on this thread, dont realize what's happening. they seem to think their job is to get smug if stocks dont go up for a day, or a week, and put on these incredibly short-sighted "told you so" attitudes....

this is only chapter one, and while the route isnt charted, it will be found. there is MUCH more money to be made here, even as this new industry evolves, matures, and integrates into the traditional economy. naysayers should go find a different game to play....perhaps a nice investment in, oh.....chock full 'o nuts??? LOL

I think alot of the "smart" money is going into biotechs and Y2K
stocks. I'm long CLPA. Hit new highs today, great sector, great
prospects. Good news recently. This could easily be a $200 stock
in a year if they get FDA approval. Short interest is 10x as large
as last month, very bullish IMO. Nets will be back but when is the
big question.

Just my $.02.

Bob

So true...hell i remember trying to trade with 20 min delayed quotes, then the bogus realtime, and finally level two, LEVEL three.

"The brokerages, funds, Market Makers have had control over the system and they have made vast fortunes but they have also helped keep it from getting out of control."

We are the new dilemma. They are not sure what to do about us.

THEY'RE COMING FOR OUR COMPUTERS...LOOK FOR SOME COCKYMAMI RULE
TO KEEP INVESTORS HOLDING A STOCK FOR 24HRS. ALBEIT A TAX ENFORCED RULE OR SOME BROKERAGE HOUSE RULE.
