Okay, a wine newbie here, and unfortunately, not by choice. It seems that my family has a history of heart problems. My doctor has told me to drink a glass of red wine often. Problem is, I don't like red wine. Much prefer white/blush wines (actually, I don't even like to drink). When I went into the liquor store, they directed me to "Lambrusco". Actually, the taste wasn't that bad, but I understand that it isn't really a "red" wine (whatever that means). Can someone direct me to a "soft" tasting red wine that will do whatever it is that the doctor wants it to?

Thanks,

Randi
