I feel sorry for those people that spend there time ridiculing the valuations of the internets and spending all of there time trying to determine what is a reasonable price for a business model none of us have yet to fully realize. It is kind of like standing in the rain and wondering why you are getting wet. Only hind sight will truly enlighten us as to what these new business models are truly worth.

Perhaps the most difficult thing in life is to look at ones own Shadow. Missing the internet wave and then ridiculing those very stocks is nothing short of being intellectually dis honest with ones self and anyone else foolish enough to listen.

Don:

a "net" stock that has actual "revenues/profits"

Certainly your not talking about FNTN. If so, prove it to me and I will take a position. Show me evidence of profit or for that matter, the last quarters revenue? I'm not saying this is a bad stock, you just need to separate fact and fiction.

I have one question that is sure to get me a beating. Over the past year the number of outstanding shares has doubled. I'm working from memory so this may be wrong, but I seem to remember the number of outstanding share was less then 10M a year ago or less, last I heard the outstanding shares was a little less then 20M (Sept 98). So who got those 10M shares and how? Are shares being used to fund day to day operations? I do not remember any significant purchases.

Happy New Year and best wishes

Tom
