Good play with STB. Even without the merger it's not much higher than pre-merger. Risk/rewared is pretty sweet. From the looks of the actions today we aren't the only ones to figure that out.

On another topic, I sold my 3Dfx today and bought STB. I'll actually end up with more shares when (if, of course if the safest description) the merger goes through.

I did the same today also. I'm just curious if you came across anything concrete about wash rules and this transaction. If asked a CPA, a tax attorney, and three brokers. (think I got the same answer?) But I did come across a great site for capital gain-loss information as well as a tickler on wash rules.
