TT,

Welcome back, haven't heard from you in a while:

Regarding $0.20, $0.30 or more.

In general the number is largely irrelevant as long as they beat consensus of $0.15-0.19.

The big reaction will be status of K-3 and what speed grades and volumes are anticipated. In addition the status of the k7 and dresden will be of great interest.

AMD has shot itself in the past on execution in the last few years whenever it has come close to Intel in architehture/speed grades.
We know the k-3 and K-7 designs look great and will offer Intel a real headache as long as volumes and speedgrades are good.

I truly see a double from here within 6 months if they execute and I have a lot riding on them executing finally.

Good luck and how are you playing the Intel/NSM/AMD mix.

Regards,

Kash

Re: I have a different opinion.

TT

Thanks for your view point. I hope you are correct about everything except the ASP. Lets hope that there are enough 400mhz and notebook chips thrown into the mix to bring the ASP up into the $90-100$ range.

Wishing a safe and happy new year to everyone,
