Nick,

Trivial if you have the equiment. you just use thermal tape to tape the sensor to the CPU and run the cable external to the volteter or oscilloscope to take the reading.... Computer Nerds has kits that plug into the joystick ports for this...

Now that I've installed the program it's obvious it just takes the info from either the BIOS or the same ports as the BIOS to get M/B temp and fan speed. It's nice having it on the desktop w/out having to go into the BIOS though. As stated before I doubt the accuracy of the readings. Why isn't there a provision for monitoring the case fan speed? Maybe the BH6 doesn't support this option. I notice the BIOS doesn't show the case fan speed either.

Question: Do you have any knowledge of CPU cooling through software means only? I once downloaded a program that supposedly cooled the CPU in this fashion but had no way to validate the results.
