Dale J: Thanks for the response, nothing wrong with some spirited debate. One must remember this is far from a static business, as Bill G has stated on numerous times. Unless MS rachets-up their quality they are extremely vulnerable in this overly dynamic business. More power to them if they can improve this, but the closed "hairballs" they have created make this seem unlikely. I reference Senator Patrick Monahan's excellent book "Secrecy" in which he concludes that completely closed systems are for "losers" that need to hide something. This is precisely why Linux is cooking.
