to all: something to consider. everyone agrees not to get emotional about stocks. however, i received a rather nasty flame saying i was essentially a bad person b/c i was trying to make money on falling stock prices.

let me straighten this person and other people out. the object of this game is to make money. it is pure emotion that makes people think the only right way to do this up. sure, emotionally, i'd like to buy a stock, make 40% a while while earnings decrease or stay flat and retire rich. emotionally.

intellectually, this game doesn't last forever.

i invest on analytics, not emotions.

we all wish the market went up forever based upon emotions. many of us bears want to REDUCE THE SIZE AND C0NSEQUENCES of the upcoming bear market by seeing the markets deflate from lower levels and more slowly than will happen if more cash is emotionally thrown at this puff pastry market.

so, identify whether you are an emotional investor and, if so, caveat emptor....

SB, I love cognac and lots of other brandies, but the sugar levels will kill you on an empty stomach. Doctors have told me that rum and brandy are the biggest health hazards in the alcohol world.

"When the word was Thunderbird,
And the Price, was 40 twice,
Drinking wine was fun.
Now some damned fool put a dollar 49,
On a jug of Thunderbird wine."

Apologies to Billy Joe Shaver.
