And a few of the threads have doc investors on them. They can explain some of the nitty gritty that could spin your views 180 degrees. Docs on SI are usually pretty decent folks. One caveat, though. Way back when, when I used to do tax returns, Medical Doctors were absolutely at the bottom of the heap as far as investment success goes. This is probably the same since investment success seems to be inversely related to IQ. Although I did have a transplant surgeon neighbor that got an emergency call one stormy night when the electricity was out. Rather than pulling the release pin and opening the garage door manually he rammed his car through it! The next morning, we were all wondering what the heck had happened. -g- I guess IQ and common sense are certainly unrelated. Regards, Ice
