Willing2: FWIW: I have spoken with Miller. There position is quite understandable. They have no risk in terms of putting up any "upfront" monies either for the distributorship or in terms of "guaranteed" sales volume if they fail to meet the guarantee figure. My understanding is that their costs are determined by the overall volume they generate. Thus if they sell x number of units they pay one price. If they fall short of the guarantee their cost escalates and they could lose the distributorship after the agreed upon selling period.

Miller's reason for taking on the deal as it was explained to me was two fold. First they did not want to be out in the cold if ALYA's Open Technology actually did find a market nitch and second they had no financial exposure of any consequence in order to become a distributor.
