Avery = Hurley

Undersized for the NBA. Strength is not there. Quickness is good at the collegiate level but will get him eaten up in the NBA. True, he has a better shot than Hurley - but Hurley was one of the best decision makers and passers ever to play in college. Avery is no more athletic than Hurley. Can you imagine Avery v. GP? He will get eaten up. Watch the iso's this weekend between Francis and Avery - you'll see how good Avery will be at the next level.

Cota worked Wojo and Avery last year. Coach K should tell Avery to gap Cota about 6 feet because Ed has never developed a J. But when he gets in the lane, chalk up 2.

I cannot dispute that Avery has had a great year. I agree with your statement that there has not been a better college point in the country thus far. As an NBA GM, however, here is my point guard wish list:

Miller
Francis
Davis
Al-Amin
Terry
Avery - Cota (tie)
Turner (who would be #2 if he didn't have the ugliest shot in the game)
