Hi Melissa,

The recent research note from Merrill Lynch said “the company indicated that its pipeline of qualified business opportunities had increased by 10% sequentially from July 1 st to October 1 st , the first such increase in 12-months.”

How long is the typical sales cycle in ERP? If this third quarter sequential increase in qualified business becomes sales, when will it hit the revenue line?

Thanks

Funny Melissa.

rejected by PSFT ?

I am in canada, so it's a non-issue.

As I said, I was responsible, with some other people to deploy this piece of crap.

It's in production now (barely), the users hate it (and won't use it)
and it's a performance dog like there is no tomorrow.

we also have SAP in the place, and while the implementation took longer to do (added complexity), it's quick like lightning and
users are very satisfied with it.

since the installation was in the canadian version of the state department, it does financials in 108 currencies without batting an eye.

the peoplesoft HR barely survives as an ongoing system.

No personal issues, just experience.

I explained technically why it is not so hot. I am not repeating myself. I dislike this company, stock and technology.

I am still interested in making a buck however, and with the greater fool theory, might invest in it anyway, since it's near it's low.

The 300 M spinoff is really bad though, and smacks of accounting gimmickry, and desperation IMO

Take care anyway
Jean

Anyone knows what caused the small pop in SAP this morning?
Sorry to post this question here, but the SAP thread is dead ;-)
