I apparently am blind and can't find it on the equis site but I am having problems changing the download symbols in downloader. Mainly I need to change CCI to C but it sees C as Chrysler. Also I want to convert old NOB to the new NFC.

**ALSO note that the Y2K and Euro patch is on the equis site as of today. It is a pretty big patch as it took a few minutes for me to download at 56K.

John,
I hope you do not get this post twice. I had trouble with the first try.

I am currently using Reuters Trend Data with the standard MS downloader. It works just fine but I have to enter each symbol for which I want data donwloaded. Do you mean QP will download all stocks to a single directory automatically?

If so, is there a limit to number of stocks in one directory (I thought I heard 250 or 2000 or such)?

Will QP work with the standard downloader (I have MS 6.5)? If not, what will I have to do to get a new downloader (i.e. Equis supply one free/charge or QP)?

Hope you don't mind my jumping in but this question has been on my mind for some time.

TIA,
John Lee

"The general idea is to run scans on Quotes Plus to find stocks that meet your criteria...."

Naive question: By "criteria," are you including *fundamental* factors, such as Price/Sales ratio, Price/Book ratio, etc.?

What are some of the criteria that Quotes Plus scans for that you couldn't just do directly with MetaStock?

I've wondered about this several times in the past when you all mentioned Quotes Plus, but didn't bother to ask for clarification then.

I forgot one additional question: Will Quotes Plus allow you to download 'intra-day' data, or just end-of-day data after some after-market-closes hour?

Thanks
