Keep in mind, no one is questioning the future of the internet, they are just questioning the valuation of Yahoo and the future of Yahoo.
The longs seem to thing that the words "Yahoo" and "internet" are interchangeable. As if the future of the internet somehow depended on Yahoo.
It doesn't.
Yahoo has nothing proprietary, and does nothing extraordinary.
It has a market cap in excess of what Microsoft had in 1994, and Microsoft was already making over a billion in profits at that time, along with having a monopoly on the operating system for the majority of the PC market.
Don't tell us how great the internet is or will be, we know that.
Tell us why you think Yahoo will be a big part of it.
