Somewhat OT
Dr. S: Ah yes, NETS. I'm in a quandary there. Clearly price is drifting and conventional wisdom sez shed dose nets. But NETS is an interesting case with interesting management. I only have a small stake, so I was able to put aside my better judgment and hang on to it. If the price drops below 10 which is quite possible, I may even pick up some more. I say that, even though I now think that there is substantial competition for NETS in the college marketplace. The colleges themselves (as you well know) have sophisticated nets; there are other marketers, already up and running, that target the student cohort (eg varsitybooks.com); and even the major portals can be customized. Nevertheless, if NETS can put together commerce and content and leverage the whole with its current media presence on campus, it could be a potent niche player. They gotta come up with the content tho -- and that is easier said then done.
By the way, I picked up some GNSSF while it was basing in the 20 area. I'm still holding that, too.
Well all of this is way far off the TA trail and my apologies if I've transgressed. To you and to everyone on this excellent thread: Have a good and prosperous new year. Regards, M2
