John, That is precisely the point. With all of their access to instant information before the public they still make different decisions. There are many funds that sold DELL two splits back because it was "overvalued". It is not that information, news etc is not constantly changing it is the fact that the "big guys" are just like every one else. They have a wide variety of opinions and rules that are driven by prejudices or preconcieved notions. Most funds can not beat the SP averages!! LTCM, with TWO Nobel prize winners is brought to a screeching halt and needs to be bailed-out. Make no mistake, there are some real bright guys out there in the funds. I just find it very exciting that we can compete on a fairly level playing field to make money. Steve Davis
