ACTUALLY, s/i defends the rights of members far more than one might think. I had an issue, oh - about a year or so ago where a pump/dump email service was being discussed, names being passed around etc etc. TO make a long story short, the exposed party was livid and attacked the folks on s/i with a vengance. They asked me if I would like to have my messages deleted, but made it very apparent that they had no desire to delete messages posted on the open threads. Ron Reese and Tonto may remember this little 'situation' with a smile since they helped uncover the scam... does GIFS ring a bell?? I Rarely (with a capital R) short stocks but when I read messages posted by short sellers, I tend to take more time to better understand the opinions expressed.. They, after all - uncovered several of the scams that took me and my money for a dead end ride. Shorts in my opinion take alot of pride in what they do- and should be viewed as a tool to help longs avoid getting butts handed to them... - and than there is KTEL.. There was a time where I made money daily going long and following the momentum on this dog.. but could someone please explain to me just what the hell is holding this stock up? Its indicative of why I wont be trading internuts in 1999. Even the best of them like AOL, CMGI, are ridiculously over priced but continue to thwart efforts by the most professional short sellers. This has to end, and im thinking its going to be real soon. I wouldnt put my money on it but... Do you have any long positions currently Anthony? or is this an Italian thing we share that keeps us favoring what we are good at, long/short?
