Just because Bernie said he wanted a cellular co that is making money doesn't mean he can't change his mind. I'm long NXTL and a lot of people think its a buyout candidate. It went up almost 3 pts Thurs because of the Airtouch news.

"WCOM is not going to buy European Vodaphone because they do not have a US presence." Why does this make a difference? Sure they may prefer a US company because growth in US is behind Europe but there is still much room for growth in many European countries. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see WCOM start by buying outside this country.
