That is almost right.

You could punish someone and still love them, but it is an inferior response, and not optimal. You can kill someone and still love them, theoretically. You can hurt the one you love very easily, we all do it at times, sometimes intentionally. You can be selfish towards the ones you love, and you can abuse the ones you love. some people display their love through inflicting pain, as sick as that seems. Others push away the ones they love. Still others find myriad ways to take advantage of those they love. None of those responses are optimal or even close.

I didn't say that unconditional love doesnt work. I am saying that regrettably, we are unable to always give it.

Also, No one has really answered any of the questions that I have posted.

I would like to see some sort of the response to the questions that I have asked, Otherwise I just feel as I am on the defensive....
