Yikes, that doesn't look good for Internal ISDN TA's under NT. How about a Courier? That is probably my next try. Or I may just buy a Pipeline 50 or 75 and call it good. Are any of the other routers any good? There are always a bunch of them reasonably priced on ebay. Maybe I'd take a chance if it was a deal.

I have read that using a external TA, the speed is limited in the 90-95 kbps range due to serial port restrictions. What do you know about that?

So you are ripping under NT? With which software? Audio Catalyst seems to do a good job under 98. You mention that not all CRdoms are the same, how much difference would I notice between a MP3 you rip on your Plextor and one off my generic CDrom? Maybe I'll end up buying a Plextor. :) Is the Plextor you have still the best one to get for ripping or is there something better out now?
