LOL- I am an American, but I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat. I firmly believe that one's sexual behavior (if between consenting adults, and possibly animals but never involving children) is completely private. I would never vote or not vote for someone based on that kind of conduct.

To me honesty and integrity are of supreme importance and neither political party has a monopoly on those characteristics. In fact neither political party has much of them at all. I liked Governor Moonbeam (Jerry Brown) because he did seem to be honest and have integrity- even if at times it was a bit forced and theatrical at least he made an EFFORT. And there are some Republicans I feel are equally sincere.

Far from being a witch-hunt, I think this is a case that tests just how lax we are willing to be with a charismatic leader that does wrong. More important than this pending trial in the Senate, is the fact that the American people still say (via poll) that Clinton is the most admired man in the country! Clinton! I admire many great Americans- but Clinton does not make the list. He is on my "Americans we should be most ashamed of" list. I do not understand what they admire. You must realize I couldn't stand Reagan either- so I am not a fish that swims with the tide. The best men that have been in the President's office recently(now I do not say they were the best Presidents) were Carter, Ford and Bush- although Bush gave up too much of himself to stay on the ticket with Reagan.
