On Funds: This was some of the most difficult information to obtain. In the US, you can go to the Edgar site to find out what large positions are held. I tried calling a few funds to see if they would divulge their positions in BII. One fund said that they will release this info to the public well into the New Year, and are not obligated to do so any earlier. Another fund said that the reason they do not release this info is that many small stocks have even smaller floats and it may make it difficult to accumulate their desired amount. I laughed at that one knowing BII is more liquid than most of their other holdings. The fund positions are from the Update Archives dated Dec.23rd: >>Below is a list of some of the funds that hold BII. This info is not new, so some funds may hold more, and I suspect some may hold less. The US buying may have offset some of the selling of late: AGF Growth & Income Fund----850,000 AGF Growth & Equity Fund-----850,000 AGF CDN Growth-------------------514,000 Altamira Management-----------1,000,000 BCM arbitrage Fund---------------120,000 BPI Capital Opportunities II Fund--400,000 CA Delaney Capital (as agents)---110,000 CA Delaney Capital (as agents)---590,000 Lawvest Co Ltd.-----------------------------250,000 Royal Trust Corp in trust for Account # 011800030---------------------275,000 Royal Trust Corp in trust for Account # 011593007--------------------1,050,000 Tera Capital Ltd Partnership-------------108,000<< Note: I have been recently informed that Strategic Value Fund is holding 150,000 shares as well. I have not been able to get an update on what other funds are buying, or what their current positions are. BTW, Bear Sterns are holding 250,000 shares in their Brooklyn,NY office. W
