lorrie,

Perhaps your post explains the wide gap between so many of us. I personally believe monogamy between married individuals is sacred obligation that many people adhere to throughout their lives. The vow between my wife and I is a powerful thing. Aside from the aspect of religion, the hurt that would be caused by a violation of that vow would shame me beyond the ability of words to describe.

Any individuals who believe sex is only next in line to shaking hands hold a moral compass that I, and I suspect others like me, simply cannot comprehend. Therefore, to us Clinton is low life, He lies as second nature and apparantly violates his vows as easlily. People who share that set of ethics see him as their kind of guy. Those of us who do not see him as a national disgrace. In my mind he should resign in discrace. If he insists on being president and the democrats want him - he can stay and, well that says a lot about him and them.

I have learned that intelligent people can look at the same facts and draw opposite conclusions. To me it is crystal clear that he does not deserve anything but seclusion in any place he decides to finally call home. The fact that others see it differently is a sad thing.
