Well, if you can get a set of stocks with specific Beta ranges and then download the new PCA spreadsheet to backtest the results.

I have a feeling that the current craze in internet stocks will overwhelm the trend.

Hi DLL, I use 1.40 as a BETA rating for sorting stocks. This will give you a list of fairly active stocks. I also use Value Line's Stock Price Stability rating and like to screen for stocks with a 25 rating or lower.

This isn't to say that lower BETA stocks can't be used with AIM. It's just that you might have to tweak AIM a bit to get reasonable activity.
