Howdy again gang, here goes, a results of dd New Years Eve weekend spent stone sober because of the any-second possibility of a beep from the teens needing yet another ride in bad weather. Visited a good friend in the hospital, he's doing fine and will come home tomorrow or Tuesday (87 years old, best family friend, had a heart attack, got a fibrilator, he was in a great mood, shrugged & said his favorite saying from his own father when I sympathized with the awful arm bruises from all the needles: "These Things Only Happen To People Who Are Alive". All in all, a good weekend.... (these are my favorites, can't buy 'em all, will decide tomorrow which ones & how many, these are sifted from about 25 contenders....) CAND, MBTI, AIMS, HNV, INDI, INFO ! CAND - Sunny thanks, looks great, looky here a dotcom mystery at candies.net MBTI - PTALLEN told yez first, but FlyByHero only gave ONE pick. (techride trivia applause to first sez PT's namesake origin, & ya name his partner I'll give a trophy link! no hints.) AIMS - next AOL for 2 1/2? has malls online, plans to give free internet access and all you do is look at shopping sites on your homepage before you go out to the Wild Wide Web. HNV - Hanover catalog and others, Online for 3 7/8. INDI -Individual Investor Magazine Online, 3 3/4 DowJones wannabe? INFO - time to jump on Infonautics again, 4 1/2, good news, a Y2K!
