Oh, Oh, are we starting to see signs of people believing Q4 results may not be up to par??? If this is the case, the s---- is really going to hit the fan!!!

European operations, NASDAQ application, business-to-business deals etc. are NOT going to be enough to keep this company in a viable position in this market for very long if the "numbers" are considerably less than anticipated. Under this kind of scenario, NASDAQ may not be in the cards until well after the Q3 1999 as the first and second quarters in the retail industry tend to be less than stellar. (especially the Q1 figures) This applies to both BII and other internet players down south, so lets not fool ourselves. Your statement about "growing interest from an equity perspective" is based on false hopes as well. The market wants RESULTS, not supposition and this is BII's last real chance to make some serious noise or else the party's over. What can we look forward to if these numbers do not materialize?

1) More jerking around by daytraders, short-sellers and the brokerages

2) No significant share price increases over the $6.00 mark (and even this number is pretty lofty under these circumstances) with the result being

3) No forseeable improvement in margins, revenues, sales etc. due to lack of significant visibility that good "numbers" would produce for the company and get investors to take it seriously.

In other words, the result of poor Q4 results is a diet of the same crap that we have had to put up with since November. Who wants to go through this for another six months or more??? I will repeat that I still believe the results will be good, and my attitude has not changed one iota, but we have all seen the effects of news releases in the past and how fast they have worn off at the same time. Other news beyond Q4 numbers truly help companies improve their profiles and long-term growth, but without good "numbers" its all meaningless and lets not forget that. This is just my observation, but I really think we have to get beyond news, news, and more news! and start looking for numbers, numbers and more numbers!!!
