Any reasonably adept scientist could figure out the precession of a fixed point in the heavens, and it periodicity through careful observation. He could not however figure out any period approaching 2000 solar revolutions of the third planet, because there is none.
Your theories fall on rock here.

You aver that some astronomical period governs a 2000 year cycle, I am asking a simple question, what astronomical period is that.

The constellations are imaginary.
There are no "three stars in Orion's belt" because Orion is a product of our mythology. The three stars in Orion's belt are not even all stars, and people only know that because observation has produced evidence that it is so. Polaris is only the North Star for this planet.
