Point again and I am not BASHING AOL or NETSCAPE I own Both... Is You name me a Company after announcing a Deal that announced a split after the announcement.... If they are laying out 4.5 Billion dollars. Then look and see what will the P/E Be ???? Look at the P/E for AOL right now... But set aside P/E I worked in the reorganization Dept for years, I follow stocks and I trade heavy in Techs It has never been done where a Company will Split knowing they will be putting up 4.5 Billion dollars.... Chart a company like ASCEND look at all the splits they had and then they paid a nice dollar for Cascade Communications. The splits stopped , Ascend went down , and its now re-couping after 2 years after the buyout of Cascade....
