Celeron Processors - Performance and Value
Gateway's new 366 and 400MHz systems utilize a processor designed to meet the core needs and affordability requirements common to many users. The Celeron processor is built around Pentium® II
architecture but has 128K of integrated secondary cache. The integrated cache enables improved performance by acting as quick-access memory, providing an outstanding price/performance equation. The first processors utilizing this technology were announced in August 1998, at a speed of 333MHz.
