"it's a good sign, since if Yorkton was already owning the shares which they had bought @ a higher price, the trade @$3.60 would give them a loss in 1998 and a gain in 1999" That is not allowed , if you sell to take a loss at year end you must wait at least 30 days before you buy back . I find it interesting that Wolverton is on the sell side they are used to jitney trades by some mid size houses.
