Wells said he could download his e-mail from Sun.Net by connecting with his Motorola Inc. 2000 pager, which has a small text screen. Because of its emphasis on user identification and authentication, Wells said, the Sun.Net server's response to a user can be highly individualized, opening access to a set of desktop or "Webtop" applications that reflect the user's work and interests. Sonki- Thanks for the site URL. The whisper numbers might be valid, but I'm not sure about the reporting date for SUNW. Someone over at the CPQ thread thought the date given there looked wrong and called CPQ IR. For at least CPQ, the date is wrong--IR said the actual date would be announced the end of this week.
