I don't think that is the way shareholders are counted but even if you are correct and you may well be, then all other companies are reporting in the same manner and 350 is a small number. I am not in anyway saying that having more or less shareholders means anything about the value of a company. For a consumer goods company it might be a bit more important. A corporation may have an interest in a wider distribution of stock for various other reasons. Again 350 fits, if indeed institutions own 70+ percent of the 24,000,000 shares.
