Shirley ,very well said and I couldn't agree with you more.I was lucky enough to buy into aqp at $7.It's a mystery to me why newcrest would not be back there right away??At this point we don't know how much tonnage is there or the cost to remove it from the ground.8 holes is the infancy stage of a drilling program. My bets is that they will be back soon.Good luck to everyone!.

Good points Shirley. Results don't come fast and easy.
I believe that ARP has been drilling for years on that property before they found the rich area.
Some nervous Nellies may sell the stock today & tomorrow, but the "Play" is still on.

Regards.

Come on now Shirley. As much as I like the Queen these results are terrible by almost all standards. Here are the initial drill results from Pierina when drill by Arequipa for reference. One program down, two to go. I have my fingers crossed.

Previously reported
00N-00E (DDH1)*
88 metres at 6.58 g/t gold, 130 g/t silver, including 32 metres at 11.2 g/t gold
100S-100E (DDH2)*
43 metres at 7.50 g/t gold, 184 g/t silver, including 8 metres at 19.43 g/t gold.
Highly silicified and mineralized for its entire length, this hole ended in mineralization and was stopped only because of diamond drilling problems. It will be redrilled with a reverse circulation drill to its intended depth of 200 metres.
New Drill Results
300S-300E (DDH3)
88 metres at 2.02 g/t gold including 30 metres at 5.16 g/t gold.
This hole drilled at a 140 degrees azimuth at minus 65 degrees was to test the outer edge of the Pierina deposit as determined by a 1.00 gram gold anomaly on surface. The hole cut a blind silicified and highly mineralized intersection from 56 to 86 metres at 5.16 g/t gold included within an intercept of 88 metres at 2.02 g/t gold.
200S-200E (DDH4)
56 metres at 2.12 g/t gold and 38 g/t silver including 36 metres at 2.99 g/t gold and 58 g/t silver.
This hole was stopped at 56 metres due to adverse ground conditions. The hole encountered silicified and mineralized rock for its entire length and was lost in ore grade mineralization. The bottom metre assayed 1.67 g/t gold. The hole will be redrilled to a depth of 200 metres.
RC 100S-00E (RC-1)
52 metres at 4.3 g/t gold including 16 metres at 7.08 g/t gold.
The hole intersected mineralized and silicified rock for its entire length and was lost in ore grade mineralization. The last two samples of 2 metres each ran 4.74 g/t and 2.90 g/t respectively. This hole will be redrilled to its proposed depth of 200 metres.
RC 200S-00E (RC-2)
23 metres at 1.49 g/t gold including 14m at 2.14 g/t gold.
This hole was located outside of the western edge of the original Pierina 1.00 gram geochemical anomaly. The hole was stopped at 23m due to drilling problems and will be redrilled to 200 metres.
RC 500S-100E (RC-3)
16 metres at 0.44 g/t gold including 6 metres at 0.93 g/t gold
This hole was located approximately 30 metres outside the original Pierina anomaly in ignimbrite caprock and was terminated at 73 metres due to drilling problems but will be deepened by diamond drilling. The entire length of the hole was in silicified material and it is believed that ore grade material will be encountered at depth.
RC 100S-200E (RC-4)
48 metres at 2.69 g/t gold including 34 metres at 3.65 g/t gold.
This hole was drilled to a depth of 208 metres. Silicified rocks were encountered from surface to a depth of 48 metres where a fault was crossed and the rocks were argillized below.
RC 300S-200E (RC-5)
107 metres at 5.98 g/t gold including 38 metres at 9.03 g/t gold.

Best Regards
KEITH

Shirley, you are dead wrong. You said ......"And if the grade isn't good enough for you, then perhaps it would help you to know that the mighty Pierina's average grade is .064 oz. per ton or 1.81 g/t Although on first sight this would not make your heart stop"......

Initial exploration before any drilling at Piernia had very high surface grades in pits. In addition, the alteration was typical high sulphidation style i.e vuggy silica and alunite. Surface samples from this vuggy silica zone averaged 6.4 grams Au/tonne. The first drill hole averaged over 8 grams over 77 meters. I been at Piernia and my heart did stop.
