This was reported over the weekend, apparently by Carl Kruse. You know the behind the scenes speculator that was supposedly told to buzz off by John Schmitz: ragingbull.com So my, oh my, a $32 million mortgage deal in Belize coming PRWT's way. And the Dominican Republic already. I wonder if they will be registered with the Central Bank in Belize in time. Honduras too - can Costa Rica be far behind? A quick search of the net turns up this reference to a Carl Kruse mentioned here in a lawsuit taken over by HUD in a qui tam action back in 1995 in the Virgin Islands. Looks like falsifying documents to defraud HUD. What some people won't do to make a buck. arentfox.com
