tech2000,

Before you get overly excited, I should explain that Pru's recommendations were usually made based on fundamental analysis. Ralph, of course, is a chartist and his approach is TA. Sometimes the two converge, but other times they don't.

Regards,
Ibexx

PS: Some good ideas anyway.

When you see how certains stocks are rated by brokerages -- you realize that you are better off following your own gut feelings.
That Prudential list -- has Intel as accumulate, Pfizer as hold, and Compaq as strong buy---- JUST AMAZING (or MIND BOGGLING)!!
At least that is how it appears to me.

Below are Ralph Acampora's stock picks for 1999 (issued 1/4/99):

My Top picks for the year:

* Taco Cabana Inc. (TACO-15 7/16, is not rated by Prudential Securities Research)

You guys are obviously not versed in the true business of Taco Cabana.

Taco Cabana is the only fast food outlet to serve margaritas.

Doesnt it all make sense now?
