October 27 gapped up about 7 points, peaked around 10:45 EST then sold off ands bounced at the end of the day, losing about 5 points as it closed about 1074.50 about 19 points off the high.

But I'm not really looking for today I'm looking for tomorrow.

Many things are similar but 10/27 came after 3 straight weeks of higher Dow closes, for one thing.

I dunno, maybe. It does seem to be followed by a day with the same pattern I keep coming across, up into mid session then down only the 28th has a late bounce of sorts.

I'm going around in circles anyway; two of my software programs have upgrades and ---you guessed it----one of them is buggy. I use this program from Linn Software on one of the machines and it can be a nightmare. I loaded the upgrade and whenever I launch the program it "forgets" how my monitors were laid out so I have to spend about 10 minutes arranging charts and stuff.

Then too, two versions ago I told him his TIKI data was faulty. It's still broke. It's a good thing I have other machines.

Well, see you later.

PS. AH! Linn sent me a message that I have an earlier version of the new version! Odd as that sounds, it certainly chills me out a lot. Now I have to kill another hour doing this all over again; perhaps it will work okay this time.
