His news seems to appear just when it is needed to quell any negativity that creeps onto this thread.
Not sure what thread you are following but I couldn't find him anywhere this weekend when many posters predicted a serious set back.

<<Like I said let the howling begin.>>

OK. I'll go first.

<<If you are not a paid tout Waldo no personal offence intended, either way I'm sure you're being monitored.>>

You must be kidding. Monitored? Then I must be monitored too. With a nickname like mine, I must be trying to jinx every thread I post on. <ggg>

Doug, I for one believe Waldo has posted some pretty intelligent stuff on this thread and his insights are quite interesting to say the least. But I do agree that too many on here take Waldo's word as something out of the "Internet Investment Bible" for lack of a better phrase, and this is naive behaviour for any investor. Waldo, like everyone else on this thread has some good comments and opinions to share, but I don't think he is any more of an authority on this subject than you, I or anyone else. He just happens to be a bit more informed about the industry in general, but this is all academic anyways. If the howling is going to begin Doug, lets both take it on the chin as I don't think its fair to let only one poor soul endure such an ordeal.

>>If you are not a paid tout Waldo no personal offence intended, either way I'm sure you're being monitored . I must say you are unequalled on the many threads I read from time to time on SI or YAHOO. Like I said let the howling begin.<<

I am just a share holder who believes in the future of e-commerce and refuses to pay the high prices of the US internet stocks. This is my third winning investment since Oct. 1st. I shorted YHOO (puts) on that day. It went up 700% 10 days later...read about it here:

>>The only assurance that we have is to take advantage of all the "signals" that are shared on these threads. I have some leverage built into a few gold producers as of late. Tomorrow I will be doing some puts after the possible run-up post rate hike on Yahoo.<<

I was very bearish then....thank goodness I read the writing on the wall.

Then on Oct. 15th I started to research Argentina Gold (ARP) ...I saw a bidding war between ABX and NEM coming and posted it here:

>>ARP are playing one company against the other....brilliant....bidding war anyone?

Message 6082963

Then I smelled ABX accumulating what I guessed was up to 9.9% of the stock through RBC Dominion Securities, and posted it starting here:

>>Frank, RBC has picked up 918,000 shares in the last 2 days. That is some serious accumulation.<<

and here:
>>all I can say is that it does not look like a fund buying anymore...it looks like a mining company....bidding war anyone?<<

Well guess what ...it was...and is. It took the public 6 weeks to have it confirmed.

So I went short an internet...to long a junior gold....to long BII on Nov. 13th. I offered the same style of research on the Gold price Monitor as here...you are not allowed to talk specific stocks there....so I researched how bad things were in terms of the hedge funds and the mini meltdown we were having. If you check out my style of research from the past...it is exactly the same...the difference this time is that a guy named RMB over at Stockhouse and Raging bull surpised me one day with a website with all of the scattered DD that I had posted. He is the webmaster, and also just a shareholder.

I told you I take my research seriously...nothing more ...nothing less.

Waldo

Doug.......very very unfair remarks you made to Waldo.

I think Waldo should be applauded for the work he's doing....not questioned. You Doug seem to be so hung up on your negativity that you can't even begin to appreciate the hard work and passion that Waldo has put in.

Now do you really think that BII would take such a chance on "hiring a paid tout" on such a public thread to boost their share price or to put out any fires along the way? Come on! I know SI is a prime source for us amateur investors but the stuff posted here probably doesn't even make a dent into the real world of trading.........(IMO). With all the stuff talked about on SI, there should be a daily onslaught of delistings.

>>Like I said let the howling begin<< ------ You asked for it.
