This bunch is adept at getting what they want by the stealth of lies and half-truths. Imagine an oil well that refills after you drain it, or a gold mine that replenishes itself. There is indeed an industry like that, and they are willing to drive it under by demanding mutually exclusive outputs, increasing costs and removing profits just as surely as you would by hooking more and more lead weights on a champion swimmer. It's the same crowd that burned down a ski resort in Colorado to reclaim habitat for an animal hadn't existed in the area for decades. Of course they plan to haul some Canada lynx in from Canada and turn them loose. Knowledgeable people know most of the cats will meet their fate at the Roadkill Cafe without the dignity of living out their lives on their own territory, or even of becoming a fur coat. These people never listen to reason and they never give up. Because they know what is best for the rest of us, and by God they are going to make us have it.
