I would not be surprised if a high profile index fund announced they would not participate in the mania and refuse to include AOL in their portfolio. Wouldn't that be a hoot.

What was their source? I didn't think that funds report purchases on a daily basis. Actually I thought it was more like quarterly. You know, "window dressing", at least for non-index funds.
