Paul your use, many times, of the word NOBODY, is missing the point.

Of course, when you think this through, Buffet WAS NEVER the only one buying ko at the time he made his major coup. He was but one of many opportunists, albeit a large opportunist. It goes without saying that he is not the ONLY owner of the stock. And there were plenty of people who OWNED the stock (were holding at the time of his buys) who are continuing to hold, even now. SunTrust is a perfect example. There were also MANY nameless and faceless buyers, small and large, buying ko when he did. Have they not all benifited in the same proportion that WEB has?

Because YOU or NOBODY you know did, does not mean that NOBODY did. There were also people selling and BUYING BRK at the time he made his famous purchases. I believe if you think this through again, you will see this clearly.

Buffet is Buffet because of the TOTALITY of what he has done, not from what he has done with any single purchase of a security. But he has never, ever been ALONE in any of his purchases.

Paul, with all due respect, the key point to understanding what's REALLY going on on this thread is this: Don't think DUPLICATION. Think APPLICATION.

NOBODY is trying to DUPICATE Buffet's methods. We are trying to learn from his wisdom, and APPLY that wisdom in our own unique situations.
