Actually, I do have regrets because it doesn't need to be so hard. You see me as a bigot...and I see you as a Sexist. You erroneously believe that all people operate with the same motives and values that you hold true, which are based on your religion...you do not know what other peoples intent is when they "marry"... "Maybe it is one thing to some people and something else to others." Egocentricity is a cornerstone of islamic male culture. I don't think that you can see your paternalistic self accurately. Of course, if you could, you'd know what I representing and you would respect my disdain for your self-righteousness. You certainly don't understand my position...nor do you want to. ...it would counter your self-interests. There's no room for male privilege, primacy, phallocentricity or rapists in my world. Perhaps we have more in common than I thought...I'll re-read your post and I'm sure you will see how much of a misinterpretation of my comments you made in your response. Your didactic presentation and your doctrine both offend my life. I'm puzzled about your persistent "boogieman" reference...
