When I spoke with IR a week ago, they said that they were aware of investors' dislike of the "low-key" policies of management, and they are going to talk to management about the problem. Since I'm in MRVC for the long-haul, I am more interested in MRVC getting its growth back up, rather than news coming out. I should also note that there is supposed to be news coming out soon about their new product line. Cheers

John, you have every reason to feel depressed. Any company with decent products is moving up(such as TLBS or ASND, and many others).
Until MRVC goes leading edge, I am afraid this stock is going nowhere. Tax selling is over, and the cloud has not lifted. We do have plenty of cash going for us and it's up to Noam and co. to spend wisely. I still think they can do it, if not I am out a bundle.

MRVC is still in the right industry, they made a misstep, tripped and fell. Now they have to pick themselves up, brush off the dirt and clean up their act.

Don't look for anything good up close,IMO it's not there yet.

Cabletron Systems Hires Merrill Lynch To Find Buyer (CS) - Report

(NewsTraders.com)-- Cabletron Systems (CS) has hired Merrill Lynch (MER) to find
a buyer for the No. 4 computer networking company, according to the New York
Post.

Highlights:
- A source told the Post that the company is hoping to fetch $2.5 billion, or
a 66% premium to its current market value.
- Speculation that the company would make a move caught fire the past week
after Tucker Anthony analyst William Becklean predicted Cabletron would be
acquired within five years. Cableton's co-founder and CEO Craig Benson
responded by telling the Boston Globe that the company wasn't for sale.
- Officials at both companies declined to comment on any possible deal.

My Guess...earnings preannouncement may be coming
If we do get an announcement tomorrow of some kind
I think I will ask the sec to investigate this pattern of volume
the day before public news releases. It may be legal but I'm tired of this shit!
Excuse my language for those under 21 years old
