Question about shorting?? ...Anthony, i shorted some vrsn earlier today and thought i had shorted more EXCEPT schwab is telling me something i have never heard before...that to sell short an otc stock you MUST SELL at the Bid...(i know it must be on an uptick) but they are telling me that it MUST ALSO BE AT THE BID...is this possibly true and i never knew it....i trust that you will know the answer...i am in a heavy dispute with them...help me anyone...i always thought that as long as the bid was an uptick then i could offer my shares at the ask and have them taken from me(thus executing the short sale....Please, i need an answer quickly. coach knight
