Did anyone else receive this E-mail message????? I have never received any "tips" from this mailer before. Anyone know where they get their info, or are they paid to promote a stock?? <<<Excerpt from The New York Times (11/22/98): On this date, Yahoo! had a stock market valuation of $18.8 billion. Mary Meeker, an analyst at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, best known for her coverage of Internet companies, continues to rate the stock a strong buy. At this time, Yahoo! is trading at nearly $200 and the company is losing money. To date, the Internet stock craze has mainly centered around 25 to 30 companies, such as Yahoo!, Amazon.com, Ebay, AOL, and Excite. Most investors have yet to uncover the smaller and newer Net companies trading in the penny stock range. It can be argued that many of these are presently concept companies, but, at one time, so were those that we just mentioned a few sentences ago. One such "concept company" is JVWeb, Inc. (OTC BULLETIN BOARD: JVWB). How can the float be as small as many say it is when the sum of the volume in the past week to ten days equals the public float?

Can it be said the float turns over 100% every two weeks or less? Why? There's no money in it.

Or can it be said the daytraders/MM's are regularly flip stock on a daily basis? Again, not a lot of money in it.

Am I missing something? Would appreciate your opinion/explanation or anyone else's.
